The Extraterrestrial Physics division at the Institute of Experimental and Applied Physics of Kiel University investigates particle radiation in space. It develops instruments for spacecraft, satellites, landers, and rovers. The data are analyzed scientifically and published. Beispiele include RAD on Mars Science Laboratory, LND on Chang'E-4, DOSTEL on the ISS and EPD on Solar Orditer.
