The Hessian State Office for Land Management and Geoinformation (HLBG) uses data from satellite-based remote sensing sensors and global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), specifically for documenting geotopography and for providing official spatial reference. The HLBG focuses primarily on earth observation data, acquired e.g. by the European Copernicus program.
